Frequently Asked Questions
Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions. Below you’ll find answers to the ones I’m asked most often. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, just get in touch.

Why do you call your films “cinematic home videos”?
Because that’s exactly what I hope they’ll become.
Years from now, I don’t want you to watch your wedding film and see nothing but slowed down shots of the two of you kissing. I want you to remember how your dad laughed during the speeches, the look your partner gave you during the ceremony, and all the little moments that happened around the small world that is your wedding day.
My family home videos on my Grandad’s VHS camera are some of my fondest memories. The films I make are home videos in spirit. They just happen to be filmed with a cinema camera.

Yes. You can book photography or videography individually, or combine both for a seamless experience throughout your day.
-
I describe my films as cinematic home videos. They’re relaxed, documentary-led and full of the little moments that make your day feel like yours. Rather than recreating moments for the camera, I prefer to quietly capture them as they happen.
-
Not much. I’m happy to provide you gentle direction when it’s helpful.
That said, I’m equally comfortable providing more hands-on direction if that’s the style you’re after. Every couple is different, and I always adapt my approach to suit you. -
Every wedding is different, so I don’t work to a fixed runtime.
Some stories naturally unfold in 10 minutes. Others take twenty.
I prioritise creating the right film over chasing a set number.
-
Just as with my films, I don’t work to quotas. Every wedding is different, so I deliver every image that adds to the story being told.
Quality is always more important than hitting an arbitrary number. That being said, I carefully craft my galleries and for a smaller wedding, I would expect around 300 digital images in a delivered body of work.

Absolutely. I’m based in Norfolk and regularly work throughout Suffolk and East Anglia, but I’m always happy to travel further afield.
Travel within roughly 90 minutes of my home is included in all packages. If you’re planning something further afield, just let me know and I’ll provide a clear travel quote upfront. -
Only when they genuinely add something to the story. Beautiful aerial shots have their place, but I’d much rather capture the people than fill your film with shots of buildings.
-
Absolutely. As it states on my homepage, everyone is welcome here.
Every couple deserves to feel comfortable, celebrated and completely themselves in front of the camera, regardless of who they love.
